What do I do if I finish early?

Our curriculum is designed in a way that it should take the majority of the lesson block. Sometimes, students will move through a lesson faster than expected. In those situations, you will need to find ways to extend the lesson to make sure they are getting their full lesson block time. You should not end the lesson session early and instead maximize instructional time. One way that you can make the most of this time is by re-reading the story and asking additional comprehension questions.

Please refer to our K-8 Comprehension Lesson Extension Tips for suggestions on how to get the most out of your time. These tips are broken down into grade level categories (K-2, 3-5, and 6-8).
